The history of the Hotel & SPA Reibener-Hof in the Bavarian Forest dates back to 1836, when the property was built. The exact origins and the first owner can no longer be traced, but the house was bought by Georg Fröschl in 1884 and was given the name "Zur Reiben" due to its location on a bend.
The hotel passed through various hands, including Jakob Kienberger, who bought it at auction in 1887, and later Johann and Maria Kienberger. After the death of Franz Schedlbauer in the Second World War, who acquired the inn in 1938, his widow Maria Schedlbauer took over the inn and continued to run it together with her future husband Josef Schegerer from Geiersberg.
The host family Schegerer and their team cordially invite you to experience the history of the Hotel & SPA Reibener-Hof in the Bavarian Forest for yourself and become part of the next chapters of this fascinating development.
